Dr. Bronners Magic Soap

Dr. Bronners Magic Soap

Everyone might think that all soap is created equally but the truth is that most soap contains a lot of chemicals that can not only dry out your skin, but cause skin problems down the road. Our skin also absorbs those toxins so who knows what else can happen over time.  Soap is used for all kinds of things, we use soap to wash our bodies, dishes, wash our laundry, wash our kids, our pets, to clean the house and many other things. There are so many chemicals in our soap and we come in contact with them numerous times a day! It is scary I know!

Dr. Bronner’s soaps don’t have those toxic chemicals in them, they are certified organic and are fair trade. They are plant based and made from organic oils. They do not add in any foaming agents, preservatives or thickeners. Oh and, they are eco-friendly! Could these soaps get any better? Probably not! I originally started using Dr. Bronner’s soap when our daughter was born because we refused to use soap loaded with all of those chemicals on her delicate baby skin. I had seen some homemade baby soap/shampoo in the past using Dr. Bronner’s baby mild soap as a base and decided to try and make one myself. (I will have to share it down the road) I was extremely happy with the result and continued using Dr. Bronner’s to make her soap. I even stated experimenting with other uses around the house. It’s been quite a while since that first time used it and we are at the point where we use the soaps all over the house. We use them for dish soap, body soap, hand soap; I even use it in my facial cleansers I make. I have used it in laundry, and many other things. I love the simple light scent the soaps have and its quite funny but every time I smell the soap brands loaded with chemicals weather its dish soap, laundry soap etc. the smell is so overpowering that its almost gross! I also love the fact that I don’t have to purchase 50 different soaps to use all over the house! You can even dilute them for certain uses so you get more for your money and they tend to last a really long time! Here is a list of possible uses of Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soap; -Soap -Shampoo -Body Wash -Baby Shampoo/Body Wash -Pet Shampoo -Dish Soap -Laundry Soap -Household Cleaner -Face Wash/ Cleanser -Shaving Cream -Fruit and Vegetable Wash -Natural Garden Pest deterrent -Hand Soap The options could be endless! For many of the uses I add other ingredients like essential oils or other oils. Do some research on recipe options using Dr. Bronner’s soaps and I will even share some of my own in the future. Many stores are now selling Dr. Bronner’s soap but I have found that the amazon price is almost equivalent if not cheaper than your common store.
