Sweet Strawberry Facial Scrub

Sweet Strawberry Facial Scrub

You might just be tempted to eat this facial scrub. I’m not kidding either! I will admit I licked a little off of my lips and yes it was delicious. I’m not crazy, I’m sure you will try it too! 😉 Aside from that lets talk a little more about why this is a great homemade all natural facial scrub. We all know how important it is to scrub your face about 2 times a week. This is so you can exfoliate and remove dead skin cells, but that isn’t the only reason this scrub is so amazing. The strawberries are very beneficial for your skin. They are loaded with vitamin c which absorbs in to your skin and helps produce collagen and also helps heal wounds. This is another reason why strawberries are known to be helpful with acne prone skin and can even help minimize acne itself. Strawberries also contain ellagic acid which is anticarcinogenic. The raw honey can help lighten scars, and both the honey and coconut oil help moisturize your face and both are also antibacterial and antifungal. The sugar is great to gently exfoliate your skin. I love the sweet smelling aroma you get to enjoy while scrubbing your face, it’s so fantastic! I could seriously make homemade facemasks and scrubs all day long. It’s so fun to experiment. I made this one a while back with my sister (we had like a spa facial night) and she too loved it so I had to write down the recipe and now I’m sharing it with you. I forgot to mention that your face will  feel super soft after wards which is a huge plus!
